In support of the alliance between ACPA and the Society for Ear, Nose and Throat Advances in Children (SENTAC) and SENTAC’s mission for advancing research, SENTAC is again offering a $5000 research grant to be awarded to an individual or group whose proposal offers to best represent quality interdisciplinary research – either basic science or clinical – which serves to advance the care of children with cleft lip and/or palate. A two page summary is required to describe background, rationale, objective, hypothesis, research design and budget justification. To submit your summary click here.
SENTAC is once again offering a $1,000 award to be given to the best abstract submitted on Cleft Lip & Palate to the 2013 SENTAC Annual Meeting.
These $1000 grants are to be awarded to individuals who have completed their training and who are neither a SENTAC member nor an Otolaryngologist. The individual may be an MD, a nurse, a physician assistant, an audiologist, speech pathologist or other professional involved in managing children’s ear, nose or throat conditions. The purpose of this grant is to broaden the scope of SENTAC membership. The nominating individual must submit a statement of no more than 500 words on behalf of the nominee.
